Replacement Health Appraisal - Dental Screening

"Group 3 who came for the appraisal on the 1st
April were not able to do their dental screening
as the dental faculty were busy with the IMEC.
The replacement screening will be done on 16th
April . 4-6 pm at CSU by the dental faculty only
for Group 3."

5th Malaysia Indonesia Brunei Medical Sciences Conference

"A conference that our medical students may be
interested in participating.


The University of Indonesia will host the 5th Malaysia
Indonesia Brunei Medical Sciences Conference 2009.
The 5th Malaysia Indonesia Brunei Conference to be
held in July 23 - 25, 2009 at the Mercure Hotel, Ancol,
Jakarta for your perusal.

UKM as co-host will coordinate the submission of oral
and poster presentation for Malaysian Delegates. We
will also arrange for flight and hotel bookings. Attached
too please find sample of template to submit abstract and
email it to Prof. Dr. Yasmin Anum Mohd Yusof,
Department of Anatomy,UKMMC,

London Student Journal of Medicine (LSJM)

"Dear Professor Malik,

I hope you don't mind me contacting you directly. I
got your email address from ex-students of IMU
who recommended that you would be the best person
to contact regarding this matter.

My name is Jasmin Lee, and I'm currently studying
in University College London and am writing to you
on behalf of a community of medical students
under the auspices of University of London who will
be launching a new student-run journal titled the
London Student Journal of Medicine (LSJM). We
are planning to launch our first issue in April 2009,
and so far our call for student-authored submissions
comprising essays, original research and
interesting articles has been well-received.

However we are most keen to engage our peers
abroad and collaborate with medical schools overseas,
and it is my hope that you would look favourably
on our project and encourage your own medical
students to write for us. I attach a full letter and
poster which will hopefully be more informative
and I hope that the poster can be used to advertise
for authors in your medical school. I should be
happy to answer any queries or concerns which you
may like to clarify before getting involved with our project.

Blood and Organ Donation Drive

"Your blood, their lives"

Date: 15th-17th April 2009
Time: 10am-4pm
Venue: MPH Broadway

Donate blood and pledge your organs.
We also need volunteers to help out during the
three days- about three hours per shift.

Shifts are 10am-1pm or/and 1pm-4pm (Wednesday to Friday)
