SRC follows the Parliament rule that if candidates running uncontested receive two thirds (66.67%) of the majority of the ‘yes’ votes, the candidate(s) in question will be successful in winning the election.
Because of this, one of the candidates, VP of Pharmacy, Chow Chi Hau has performed below the expectation of this rule. Chi Hau's percentage was 62% whereas Bryan's percentage of 'yes' votes were 66.76%, which is very near the baseline.

i hope you guys can give Bryan credit for re-applying for the post.
ReplyDeleteit takes a lot of guts to apply for SRC in the first place, and he proved to us that he actually wants to be up for it...
this is what i feel after working with SRC, and honestly speaking, i think being an SRC is one hell of a job, after helping them out or working with them several times, i grew to respect their level of commitment.
it feels only fair to give them some amount of respect that they work so hard for the well-being of the students.
who are the other two people from our batch who are running for the post?
